What am I doing wrong? All I get are emails from are 20 to 45 year olds. More 20's and 30's than any body. I actually met with a 42 year old, who said he liked older woman. What a bummer. We didn't go any where, but to a friends house for a couple of beers. And after a week end of, in between him taking care of his house work, grocery shopping, and other chores, he was only interested in sex. After that, I never had a call from him. Which is just fine, because who would want to spend any more time with some one like that, after driving 2 and a 1/2 hours, plus gas to get there. Never again.
But, will some one out there, please tell me what is wrong, that older men don't contact me. If any one would take the time to read my profile, they would know what I'm looking for. So, back off young guys, The anwer will be ( DELETE.)very mad

LOL...this is just a long, exhausting process for all of us. Most of my emails come from Africa or somewhere else overseas. AND my catch phrase is "Looking for a real date", lol. How am I going to date someone that far away? It's ok, I always respond with a polite "you're too far away".

This is a very small site. Can I suggest you also go out on the weekends? Or possibly look through the paper to find some locals events? The problem with going out is finding a friend to tag along. Kinda hard to go alone, lol. I finally found a single friend to go out with, and then of course she goes and finds herself a boyfriend, lol.

Maybe we should be on here looking for local, single friends instead of dates?

If I may be so bold( ha ha) You say you have no baggage. You can't be your age and not have baggage. We all have baggage unless we lived in a reigious retreat...as if that wouldn't be baggage enough!!

You are a lovely woman with a really nice smile. I can't understand why some man hasn't swept you away! I don't qualify, for your standards, but I can admire you from afar.

Sometimes really attractive women intimadate average looking guys. Then, there are guys like me who would never initiate a contact with a woman. NEVER again will I put myself in a position to be insulted like I was the last time I approached a woman.

Don't mis-understand me...I don't consider myself average. I have a long way to go to reach that point...but you are a lovely woman. Be patient. Someone is looking for you as hard as you are looking for themwave

That was so very nice. Thank you. And by the way, you are above average.
Now, the ( no baggage) means, I'm free and clear of all my past. applause Oh, the memorys are still there, good and bad, but I don't dwell on them anymore.
I may or may not find the right person, but you and all the other people I've met on Fl. Forums are the most wonderful people.

You are right about going out without a friend. I hate going out to public places alone. It has always been hard for me to make friends, unless they make the first move. Thank goodness, over the years I did have a few of them, or else I would probably be a real hermitress.laugh

Hi there -

I read what you had to say....How old are you?

I am 40 years old and yes I do get alot of the 20's & 30's myself.

I haven't tried dating anyone younger but this may be an option because the 40 year olds seem to get worse as they get older.

Good luck.

Peki is no longer here. And if you are going to find a partner at any age...you sure as hell won't find them in the Florida Forums!! Have you noticed the date of the last post before you?? This room has dried up and all but disappeared
