Sometimes...


Sometimes I sit and wonder where you are.
A ghost in the night, never to be seen by the light?
Silence creeps in like a soft breeze taking in all that is good.
What have you done today in your brilliance?
A kind word perhaps, for an unsuspecting soul.
Quietly I wait to hear your words echo across my ears.

Stained Glass...


Blue is the color so vivid so true,
of the pain she sheds before you.
Where is her heart today, she who is kind?
Hidden by the tears of her clouded mind?
At a glance, look through her, see her pain.
Quietly, she stands alone, stained.

My most recent, not what you're use to but
poetry comes in many forms.

False Friends...

How silently the heart breaks.
Torn apart by cowards and fakes.
Merely seeking to devour the kind.
So selfish, close minded, and blind.
Thoughts of their needs their desire.
Paving the way to become just a liar.
Stand and judge yourself in the mirror.
Now, can you see others much clearer?
Facing what you have truly become.
Heartless, selfish, greedy, and numb.

Life is imperfect so expressions will fall into
every crack along the way.

Just experience life along with the rest of the
world. All that matters is what is truly on the
inside even though the road is rough
sometimes, right?

Quiet, the sound of nothing
Repetitive the life seeping into my lungs.
Could it be? The faint sound of a heartbeat.
Alas, comfort within my own darkness.

I can almost resemble that...

I can see that as saying, " Look for happiness within yourself, you won't find it outside of you."
