no one wants to talk ???

I'm snowed in.

It's me and my shovel tomorrow morning.

So far, I see we are just a bunch of women and a couple of guys in the same boat. Living in small towns in Maine with few dating possibilities.

Makes my heart happy to know it's not just me and my feisty, perfectionist Scorpio personality that makes dating tough in this neck of the woods.

Does that mean Mainer's are mostly happily paired, or have they given up in disgust, or are they just waiting for the snow and mud to abate enough to get out the door? I vote for the latter - and it's time to get out there!

Well I have plenty to do. At least before the snow gets here again

I just moved. So my plan is to hang around in the front yard to let the local guys get a look at me. Maybe some guy in a truck will stop and ask for "directions"

Well, I haven't been bored yet this summer, what there's been of it anyway. I think our local fairs and festivals are a good public place to meet someone for the first time and if an eligible woman is interested then definitely email me~let's get outside and enjoy what's left of our short summer!

Just moved here from MA and I notice that all the Maine guys smile and check you out, but don't talk to you!

Not all guys are chatty, and believe it or not some even like the woman to make the first move. Don't be put off by it, I have lived here most of my life and it is common. I am not typical....LOL
