Maevelette: SO theres the Countdown for New Years...
and you're supposed to kiss someone special when it reaches the new year...yeah well for the single couples, its not so fun, just reminding you you're alone and its a new year, no fun.
So how's about this?
Get a gig of your friends ( just for safety) and set up a date with someone on here, someone that your attracted to and plan on meeting them.... you never know!!! It would be a new exciting safe way to meet a special someone, or someone just to talk to.... think about it.
Back when I was 25 and lived in some place populated by college age people (not Maine), that was what happened on New Years Eve.
And when I was in my 40's in New Hampshire, there were singles dances every Friday, Saturday and sometimes Sunday night. People in Southern Maine showed up at New Hampshire and Massachusetts dances for lack of dances near them.
But now I'm here in Maine, where every thing is NOT within driving distance and if you're not in your twenties and hanging out at the bars....
....it's Happy New Year at home alone
