Ok, kids, One of the things I have learned over the years (for me anyway) was to figure out who I was, or am. I say the latter because I believe that I am a growing person. A process that never stops until I am dead. So what is the goal? What can I expect for digging deep within myself and finding out who I am?

Well, I believe that if I know my strengths and weaknesses, and learn to live with them comfortably, and continue to work on my weaknesses, I will be a better person for myself. And then I will have something to bring into a relationship, that will benefit a relationship. In my mind, a relationship is an extension of ourselves. How can I be any good to someone else if I can't be good to me, or for me?

So what are some of your strengths, and what are your weaknesses? Anyone care to open up and share?help hug

I think I have a strength that also has a weakness all in one.
I always want to look at the positive side of whatever the situation is and I find this to have a down side, some situations you should not look for the positive at all you should high tail it out of there.cats meow

So you have a kind heart, and sometimes it gets the better part of you in making choices?

I've done the "kind heart" thing too, and made mistakes. For me, the goal is to not make them a second time. Sometimes it's better to cut and run. But I think I'd rather have a "kind heart" and maybe make a mistake or two, than to have a cold heart that no one could love.

Yeah, you want to have a kind heart...but after having it pulvarized a few times you can get very gaurded. doh I think we all grow and change as people and do what we have to do for ourselves...like you said, you can't give others love if you don't love yourself! teddybear I am not much for giving advice lately since my life is pretty complicated but I am here if ya need anything! Hang in there!

Thanks K, I'm ok these days, just not as full of life as I used to be. But I am still breathing. snowed in
