Capton...an autobiograghpy is book that just hit the stands a week or so ago.I read this thing completly and it is a real page turner book.Hard to put down.
Eric will take you from his humble begginings to playing with the Yardbirds,John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers,Cream,Blind Faith, and Derek and the Dominos. He will also take you on a tell all and humbling journey through drugs, alcohol, his stays at hazelden recovery here in Minnesota. He tells all about his Patti boyde...his former wife...and George Harrison's ex also. His friendships with so many differant rock stars and how things are for him today, right now.
MY Rating:5 Stars I was so floored at the way Eric was so humble and truthful in this book.I swear...it must've hurt to write for the guy.His son Coner's death and all. Some of the book is fun to read and you will laugh at some of the stuff these guys did.Eric did manage to hang on to his Hurtwood Estate which was the very first thing he bought so long ago.It was a run down place when he got it and I guess the place has some pretty happy and real misrable times spent there.
This man is a true rock legend....you won't be sorry to read it!!!!
