You know, they say that Minnesota is a friendly place. I think they are right...when you're not a single person.

Life sucks sometimes, and worse when you're alone. However, being alone can give you the time you need for reflection. But God knows I'm tired of looking at only myself in the mirror.

Keep good thoughts and one day it will all come together.

These things only work if others help out. I kind of figured that during winter more people would pop their heads in and say hi or create discussions more often. Now with spring just around the corner, I suppose no one will be around.

Hey, Tiger. Dog and WELCOME Harmione!!!!!! for those that haven't heard I will be a bit busy from now on. (I'm getting married folks) So, I will continue to check in from time to time (or until CS kicks me out) Harmione. like Tiger said, the easiest way for the forums thing to work is to think up a really easy or in MN case "ODD" conversation started and watch the replies come flying in. I was amazed at how a simple one liner like "where the hell is everyone" got sooooooooo many replies and I will always consider the folks on that thread my friends. BTW GUYS AND GAL'S YOU WILL ALL BE INVITED WHEN THE WEDDING HAPPENS

Wow, Curly, That's great news! You know, you (like me and Kitty...and others too) are always welcome here. Sure this is for dating but when you make good friends, like we all have, it's hard to stay away. I think CS knows and understand that. I see many people in the international forums that are married or seeing someone, and they still participate. So don't be a stranger. I just won't ask you out on a date any more.

You said a mouthfull tiger. I'm from Virginia and I've been in Minnesota since 2002 and I haven't made a single friend since I've been here. I even joined a bowling league and that didn't help, now that people have no money and it's cheaper for me to have my "happy hour" at home, I'm now practically a homebody, but it's nice to find some kindred spirits on this site.

When people are here...it's fun. Also check out the international forums. Many more posts on there. Strike up a conversation, or just chime in on one already going. Lots of topics.
