If you visit the International Forums (link at left column) you can then access the information for the VEGAS GT for last weekend in July of 2008... Please come on by.. Signup, or just offer suggestions...

This event is for Locals and Out-of-towners alike, come just yourself, plan to bring friends, whatever... just plan on having some good fellowship and fun...

First, I understand that it may seem strange/awkward to some that someone from out-of-town is planning this GT in Vegas - which is why I'm still looking/hoping for a local resident to co-sponsor (so that we can provide this to be a Locals GT, not just events for out-of-towners). If you volunteer your yard for a BBQ, I (as I'm sure others) will pitch in for food/pop so we can incorporate the more "traditional" BBQ event as part of this overal GT; so everyone (especially the ladies - remember, bring a friend if you need to) feel more at ease (the "bring a friend" obviously holds true for this or any GT/Event) .... Anyway....

Wear Red??? (or a Dr. Suess hat if you can find one lol)

Still hoping someone volunteers backyard for BBQ (Sat. 7/26 - after we could all go up to Sahara POOL)... I'll buy some Hamburgers/Hot-dogs!!

Recognizing fellow CSrs at these Events...
Since members will meet up with others at diff. times & varying locations; not just easily showing up to a backyard of a house for BBQ, these places may be crowded; we need a method by which to recognize fellow CS members...

Not likely we are going to memorize everyone by their CS pics. The easiest, of course, will be if people consider purchasing a CS Shirt to wear to the events. Others suggest, everyone wear a Red shirt (if you're not wearing a CS shirt, or a Flag print like me [choose any Nation], consider that [Red Shirt] option. You might want to consider printing off the Sign-up page (pictures portion) which will provide an easy one page (or so) reference sheet of people on list - to this end, please ensure you have a good head-shot for your main pic so if/when people do this they will have a good image to go by.

If you've been in Chat, or just by stopping by the Vegas thread, you're used to seeing my main pic, so - I will be planning on wearing what you'd expect. I'll pack my Flag print T-shirt for the casual Thu and the Polo (as seen in the pic) for Fri; yes, I have several different ones; as I will be more dressed up for the Show Fri night and since Strat Lounge has a Dress code.

I could (as we were joking in Chat) temp-dye my hair bright Red. I could, but I won't (ex and I painted up our faces Blue to go to Blue Man Group years ago, but I'm not going to parade around looking silly in General Public - yes... go ahead... make the joke - "should look in the mirror" right? hardy-har-har).

If no-one volunteers their backyard or pool, time draws close plans need finalizing, I'll add a Sahara Poolside time so that everyone can let me know if they want to come up and enjoy the Sahara Pool area and I'll make sure to get you into the Pool area to cool off from the 110 (expected) heat of the Vegas Sat or Sun afternoon heat. Let me know.

If you have NOT ALREADY EMAILED me yet to let me know when (what days for events) you will be in/around Vegas, please do so, so I know who to really expect. I will be at the Sahara Hotel (702-737-2111), so you can contact me there (Joseph Lenard, no they won't know who YetAnotherUser is. lol) to let me know in advance what specific event(s)/outing(s) you plan on attending (or, Please let me know if you are no longer going to meet-up at a locale) so I know who we'll be looking for and give sufficient wait-up time for us all to gather points before wandering in to eat, a lounge, whatever the event (scheduled events listed in Intl. Forum Vegas GT thread, keep checking THERE to the end for additions/updates). People who provide me with a Cell phone contact number will get mine back in return (for easier communications).
