Hi Everyone from New Jersey. I see the threads in this forum are as slow as the South Carolina ones.

I was sorry to hear that CD 101.9 went off the air in NJ. I always listened to that smooth jazz station when I lived there and when I went back for a visit.

If you want to hear the station again, IT'S DOWN HERE in SC LOL 92.3 FM Nice change from all the religious and country stations I was getting used to.

cd 101.9 was my solace..I miss it too. mY new mpe with that tape cartridge hook-up isn't verry quality & i mess up when I hit the wrong buttons(apparently the model I got is known 4 that)...OH WELL..How are the Carolinas treating you? DO YOU MISS US UP HERE? hee he

maybe it be best of former New Jersey residents met here, because Virgnina is just as quiet. I do like Jazz, yet the atation I listened to most when living in Hudson County was WBLS.

as for WBLS, back then they had a disc jockey named Frankie Crocker, and man was he a lady killer. short and ugly, he had that deep voice that woooooooed women. something like Don Cornelious from the soul train days. Dam I'm really going back now. Being I majored in Communications at Seton Hall I wanted to be the badddest disc jockey to walk the face of this planet, but alas, that never came to be.

I love Jazz too and WBLS was great. Too bad all the great things have to disappear or do they just reappear in a different place?

I do miss NJ but was back for a wedding in July. I loved the weather then. It seems like NJ waitrf until I left to turn out some ideal weather. And what happened to all the snow you guys used to get??????????
