Best Gourmet Hamburger: The Copeland Burger at the Governor Westin Morris in Morristown. The only burger I had that beat it was in Montreal.

Best Authentic Szechuan: Chengdu 1 in Verona. We're not talkin' Beef & Broccoli here; we're talking about the real deal.

Microbrew bar: Andy's Corner bar in Bogota. No, there's no Bud here. Constantly changing tap selection and attention to detail. Taps are cleaned after every keg change.

Liquor store for Microbrew: Oak Tree Discount Wines and Liquors in South Plainfield. Most diverse selection of beer in NJ hands down, and it's clean and well organized. They even have "beer managers" and a very friendly and helpful staff.

Thai food: Wondee's in Hackensack: Not a great atmosphere, but the food is terrific and it's BYO.

BBQ: NOWHERE in NJ can you get real, slow cooked bbq like you can at The Wood Pit in Montclair. The ribs and the beef brisket are unbelievable.

Neapolitan Pizza: A Mano in Ridgewood. 'Nuff said.

jersey is a shit hole ok? but it's not quite bad as that smelly shit hole next to it, that's right philly or even worse north or south philly. cabish?

Hey Jim! Those places you mention in NJ are Very cool , but another very cool place is the "Old Mill" in Clinton! Fabulous place for photo's all year around.

ocean city is freakin brilliant ...cept for its a dry island but great pubs over the bridge in sommers point!!!!!!!!

concerts at the stone pony or the starland ballroom.

the Shannon Rose in Woodbridge is fun and no cover. all zone give you a buffet as well as live show for $15 cover. dont know too much else. its hard to find fun in this f-ing state.

the ledgend has been told for a while now.. It happened on halloween night... a man came home one night to his house to find out his wife had been cheating on him... This wasnt the only time but it was the last. He was so angry at his wife he killed her and cut her up into little peices and burried her remains under the drive way...
What happens next is the kicker.... he pulled out of the drive way and got down the hill... Then his wife awoke from her grave and reached down the hill and pulled him right back up from the bottom of the hill to where she was burried. The poliece found him in his car and he had died from a heart attack.. From this day on she still thinks whoever is at the bottom of the hill is her husband trying to leave and she wants revenge...

Be sure to visit Bowman's tower during the peak of the foliage change. It is VERY close to Washington's Crossing on the PA side, just north of it.
