My name's Travis. Soon to be Xavier when I have my name changed. I live in Leland, but i frequent Wilmington alot for various reasons.
My wife and I were together for a while and long story very short: i thought she was amazing, and came to find out that during our two month separation she took advantage of my love for her and my generousity and used me to her personal gain.
I was hurt, badly. But I've had my grieving period, I've come to terms that there's no hope, and I realize that I did my best to keep it going. I leave the relationship with no regrets.
We do have a son together, and he is #1 for me. Nobody and nothing else comes close. Just thought I'd get that out in the open.
But everyone deserves love. And I realize now after so long of being used, betrayed, giving myself wholly to other people and being shit on, that I deserve to be happy for once. I deserve better than this. But it seems I have horrible taste in women, seeing as just about every single one has done this very same thing to me. Which is why I make this post in hopes that there is a young lady in my area who cares enough to read all of it. ANd who thinks they may be able to connect with me. I'm pretty sure this is attracting users by now, but let it be known I will no longer be blinded by love. I will never, and I mean never, be used again. So don't try it. As for the true sweethearts who may be reading this, if you're a sweetie to me, I'll be a sweetie twice as much to you. :)
About me:
I'm 5'11" broadshouldered, i normally wear my hair long but now it's shaved. Last time I've checked was early august, I weighed 270lbs though I didn't look it, I've been losing substantially since then. For reasons I will explain later. I love classic heavy metal such as: pantera, slayer, napalm death, old metallica, DIO, Black Sabbath. I also love basically any rock/metal except for industrial and emo rock/metal. I have a weakness for broadway musical theater. I love books. I love video games, especially RPGs such as Final Fantasy, Dragon Warrior/Quest, Chrono Trigger/Cross, and Kingdom Hearts. I love guitar and bass. I hate football and most sports period, though I rather enjoy hockey and rugby. I can cook a mean meal, especially italian. I love little friendly debates about music, religion, philosophy and literature. I'm an athiest, but I do not bash other religions. I still try to live my life as good and pure as i can because, though I'm not religious, I feel everyone gets "their due" in the end. And I want my due to be good. I work at the walmart in Leland. Not the best job in the world, but it's a job nonetheless. I don't have much money, I don't have a flashy car, i don't have a big house, I dont have the best of looks. But I have something more important than that. The ability to love and feel pain.
About my match:
EVeryone has their physical weaknesses. No matter how important personality is, everyone has physical weakness. My weaknesses are: red hair, green eyes, glasses, shortness, and foreign accents. But, that doesn't mean I'm looking for that specifically. Just saying it would be a plus. Because when it all boils down to it, I just want a girl who's intelligent, humorous, and can take a joke. My only limitations, and i mean my only limitation is I don't necessarily like when a girl is bigger than me. Taller is fine, but I mean bigger than me. or weighing more than me. But I'm a big guy so that's a broad range here. As long as I can pick up whoever I'm with, it's all good.
Hopefully i can find someone with similar interests. Not necessary, but it would help quite a bit to have the same tastes in music and video games. but then again, it'd be nice to have a girl thats into things that I'm not. so I can learn new things and be the yin to my yang. Opposites attract.
