My area is not much better,besides that I get a lot of lookers but no one writes and if someone looks and no reply I ignore their view as not intrested.I find some of the other sites a little better.

Hey loving... Ever take the chance of writing first? I figure many people on the site take the view "If they are interested then they will write to me first" ... so curious if you have taken the plunge first?

I actually do like when a guy writes first. It shows confidence. As for this site, I have gotten a lot of creeps but a few keepers. I am a little afraid to actually meet them though.

Should meeting really be that scarey? Figure if you do a public place during the day then shouldn't be a problem. Just stay away from meeting at hotels at 3am or dark alleys unless you like that and if so, I can only reply with Sweet. haha

I will say that i have been messing on this site for off and on about 2 years. and about 2 years ago, i actually met a wonderful woman from Vancouver BC. We hit things off wonderfully, but unfortunatly, the distance thing didnt work out between us. So we decided to take things as friends and remember our time together as just a great, fun time. Other than that though, i havent gotten too many responses from people. Couple looks but that is about it. People are too shy and need to just say what the hell and go for it at times. Hesitation is a moments lost.

Havn't been on much last 8 months or so and was unable to type for Jan.-part of April. I am another oldie on CS. I met 1 gentleman from here I dated a few times but we had different goals. Have made female and male friends and aquintances from this site and we see each other,im,e-mail or call,depending on distance. I never had much interest romantically with men who wrote me here on CS, but loved the intern. forums. We would laugh and have so much fun at times.Many people have gone and I have seen alot of newblies there.Oh. Forums when it started sounded like it would be great.Hardly anyone got into it,much less 2 times I tried a get-together going. Still doesn't seem popular,but had to throw my 2 cents in. I agree with Parker as I remem ber ageses ago he posted a thread and later in time and then later then that,still people posting to it. Off course it is our own fault no new threads get rolling here.
To those I don't know and to rest who may stop back .

Not good here either....i meet very interesting girls on here but they are too far away.

Not much luck here either. I have taken the risk of driving four hours to meet one and eight hours to meet another and just hasnt worked out. Talking to men on here is easy and clicking with them comes almost naturaly but once you meet them and they relax and stop trying to impress you they show there true colors and it sucks. Just last week I drove eight hours to meet a man I hade talk to on here. I thought he was a great guy but after being with him for two days he started showing his true colors and well lets just say that by the end of the third day I bolted. Now after actually puting my self out there and realy trying I just dont think its worth it any more.

NO luck brother..I think that this site is a joke.I am gonna be honest tho.I found a girl who is my girlfriend now at POF.I do recommend that you try that.

i had great luck on this site.

although i didnt find a guy in my area. met a man originally from indiana, but who now lives in texas. he's in the army and stationed at fort hood there. and i'm now moving down there to be with him.

it took a while for me to find him though. i was on this site for 9 months and met several men before i found my man. patience and lots of hard searching paid off for me.

I've only been on here for a few weeks but I've had pretty good luck as far as messages and stuff goes....I havent actually initiated contact with anyone yet just because its really difficult to not come off as a creep I think being a guy so I just added that to my profile saying I didn't lack confidence I just didn't want any girl to think I was a creep or anything. but so far...I've had pretty good luck...whether that amounts to anything at all or not remains to be seen

I have communicated with a few on the site, but have not met up with anyone.
I do enjoy reading the forums, and sometimes reply.
Maybe one day the right one will come along and will meet up. I have hope.
