Did you hear about Columbus' cameras in the downtown. The cameras are for stop lights. If you run a red light and don't stop then you get a ticket. Now here is the kicker ... When you come to the intersection and you have red then you come to a complete stop at the large white line. Now lets say you stop a little past the line ... you get a ticket. Lets say you role forward to make a turn to the right and you stop ahead of the line... you get a ticket. So basically your getting a ticket for not stopping your vehicle even though your stopping your vehicle. Believe these cameras are getting a little out of control.
the law says
stop at white line
if no white line stop at crosswalk
if there is no white line nor cross walk stop at
point of intersection of other road
the white line is there for a reason
if you are making a right turn and stop at the white line first
then you should not get the ticket unless there is a no
turn on red sign
but you should not set past the white line to do so
the whit line is there to keep the intersection clear so
that larger vehicles (such as semis) have enough room
to make the turn onto the intersecting road
