Out of curiousity, one of the other sites I'm on has get togethers , special events, and so forth, Although there is not a whole lot of people that frequent the Ohio Forums, Or at least post in the forums on this site, I was starting to plan a camping trip in late March or early April to Ohio Power Recreation Lands. The campsite are located around McConnelsville, about 8 miles east of there actually. Be forewarned however these sites are primitive only, No electric, But the price is right, Free. You just need a permit that you can download from an AEP website. So check it out and tell me what you think.

I saw the Missouri thing, thats just too far to travel for me. This could be a one day thing that kids could attend as well. Its about an hour and 15 minutes out of Columbus and Probably an hour and half to 45 minutes from Cleveland. It is a little early in the year but, the Smallmouth Bass are supposed to bite like crazy. Thats the reason I'm going. I noticed that not a whole lot of people actually put anything into the Ohio forums. Hopefully, this will get some attention. Its a nice way to get to know people.
I think it's a great idea, but unfortunately, I probably wouldn't attend.
Not because I don't enjoy get togethers, but life just gets in the way.
When I've got 900 other things going on, I'm hard pressed to try to schedule in a day for total strangers.
Isn't that sad? Because I know it's a way to meet new people.
But taking an entire day, traveling a few hours, gas prices skyrocketting, and not knowing anyone when I got there.
I don't know.
I do think it's a good idea.
I'm just not much on planning activities around strangers.
I wouldn't attend the Missouri one either.
