homser,
Do you even understand the meaning of the words "stalking" and "stalker" or how they came about?
Stalk: (stôk)
verb
1. To pursue by tracking stealthily.
2. To follow or observe (a person) persistently, especially out of obsession or derangement.
3. To go through (an area) in pursuit of prey or quarry.
stalker
noun
1. someone who walks with long stiff strides
2. someone who stalks game
3. someone who prowls or sneaks about; usually with unlawful intentions [syn: prowler]
from Old English -stealcian meant to move stealithy, as to not be detected, in order to hunt, trap, or kill an animal of prey. In Middle English it became applied to the criminal behavior of using the same stealthful tactics to instead hunt, trap, or kill human beings. In Modern English the term has been applied to the stealthful tracking of human beings for any illegal purpose.
This is not any type of love. This isn't even a 2-way relationship because there is no emotion reciprocated by the prey except fear. This is predatory.
I fully believe in being in love, dedication, loyalty, fidelty, working through hard times, sticking it out, spending immense amounts of time together, and upholding marital vows for a life time.
But none of that qualifies as stalking. It qualifies as stable, lasting love.
I don't want a man who stealthily hunts me down to hunt, trap or kill me, or any other nefarious or criminal behavior. That simply is not love.
