I know of them too. Oops!
I think I may have spelled them wrong when I wrote wichita.
Do you think I did? Or is there a tribe of that name also?
Thanks for pointing that out to me!hug

I wished I could tell u more. My nanny was Chickasaw and my papa was Cherokee. I have about a 32nd. When my great grandfather was coming from Arkansas to sign up for the Census the River was flodded. He tried to cross with his team of mules and covered wagon. They went down the river for a while and he finally got them on the side they started on. He put his arms over his mules and said I almost drowned my mules and my family so I am going to go home, and did not get signed up on the Census. When my papa got old enough to work he would not claim he was indian because people would not let indians work for them. I have tried to do my ancestry but I get stopped and one woman. There are 5 women with the same name and does not match the birth date. I think it is one of them but can't prove it at this time.
