Just wondering ...are there any men out there 50 or older that can tell the difference between "being in love with someone" VS "being in love with someone(long enough to have sex)"????????????????

Not a man here. But....I get your point. Seems to be very hard to find "that someone" who isn't all about the sex.
I have found that soooo many men confuse sex with love, a lot. I have known many that thought if the sex was good that "they were in love!"
NOT!! I hope to be one of those lucky recipients of a man that wants a partner, a friend, a companion, then a lover. Thoses traits to me, make for the best lovers, as well as makes me more of a lover. Because then, I feel appreciated.
