I am new to this whole online dating situation but I have noticed 1 thing no matter what site I join and that is the fact that alot of the men that state they are looking for a long term relationship or dating are really looking just to get luckyyay . I am not trying to say that all men are that way but i'll begin to chat with somebody and try to get to know them and about 3 or 4 hours into it they're making comments about sexdoh . I was told the other day that it's just not the men, that the women are the same way. I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this or if i'm just lucky enough to attract these people lolhmmm

It depends, really.

MOST guys say that. It's a defense mechanism. Most guys in Oklahoma go fishing so much, it's become second-nature.

Don't get discouraged; some guys ARE looking for real, long-term relationships. Some of us are tired of the mind games of dating, tired of the psychological warfare like you're talking about, and DO just want to form a real, family-oriented relationship. We're rare, but we're out there...and we vote.

Also, it depends on who you talk to. Consider yourself lucky you can weed out the idiots early on; some women aren't that lucky.

Besides, I live here in Oklahoma too. And I can say from experience, most guys couldn't win a Checkers game against a signpost with a wig on.

Don't give up. You'll find the real deal! At the very least, you'll find someone who thinks with his brain, and not his other parts.

Word of warning: Those who think with the good brain (the one in your head) may be a bit neurotic, affectionate, and compulsive. But at least they're honest, blunt, and to the point.

They also tend to be wordy.

I'll be the first to admit it I like sex, but I'm not looking for that I'm looking for a relationship with someone who loves me and I can love her.

You get three or four hours of conversation. I can't get past the first IM, let alone a full conversation.

Sometimes I think I have skank written on my forehead. YIKES!

That's why I have decided to say no to online dating and rather just chill out here and make friends! Besides, we can never have to many friends!
