Ive been on here for a couple days and I dont think any one on here knows how to talk...Ive sent some messages, but so far nothing...so I dunno..I feel where youre coming from ladies..

I will join you all in your complaint about being lonely and not happy about it. I got on this site because I thought I might meet someone. It's not happening for me either. I am wondering why people say they want to meet and date and then they won't even call you if you put your phone number on here. Maybe they just want to complain to someone but don't want to put out any effort into a meeting for a cup of coffee or a coke and a good conversation. In my day--the man usually asked the lady out and he would be the one to call. It was not very proper for the lady or girl to call a man or boy. Now I don't know what to do. I tried going to church and no one seems interested in wanting to get to know me. I am a very friendly person and I will stick my neck out and make the first attempt to make a friend, but I don;t care for the rejection at all.
I wish you all the best. You are mostly alot younger than I am so maybe you have alot more chances at starting your lives again. I feel like mine is falling into a sink hole.

Thank you for being understanding wildkitty. It's too bad that men can't seem to get it sometimes. I wish they could learn we are not made like them. We are born nurturers and caretakers and nesters. I hope you know what I mean here. We try to make a loving home and loving relationships with our familys. Then to get told I am whiny and feel sorry for myself is totally proof that the man does not understand and probably not willing to try to understand. Why would they put, that they want a loving woman in their profile if they really want an escape goat to critisize and posibly abuse? I am a very careing person (not meaning to brag). I have always been told I tend to put others before myself. If ia ever was in self pitty, it was when I lost my husband 4 yrs. ago. He was a wonderful man and very loving and enjoyed the fact that I was that way with him also. We had a wonderful marriage. Sorry some people do not understand that.

i'm only 38 and realize men are not of equal to what us woman go through and i call them self centered , 2 year old brats, i've lived a life of hell and don't expect it to change anytime soon but i keep hoping and praying it does and i'm not whining, just want men to realize we have feelings too . we deserve respect and by gosh thats what we deserve and should get!!
