Hello, Oklahoma! Almost sounds like the mornin show, don't it? I wanted to open~up a thread about long distance relationships, in order to find out what some of ya'll think. Now, obviously, the term "long distance" is relative to each individual, however, just for the sake of the arguement... lets call it over 80 miles. Here's the question. He/she approaches you, cautiously, inquisitively... hoping to find your heart and life to be open... You respond warmly, and witha glad heart that someone who's this drop~dead gorgeous would even notice you. You talk for hours on end... about everything... about nothing.. you find yourself rushing just to see their picture like your heart will despare if you don't fill it with your sweetheart... Everything fits.. except. they live so dar away. What do you do? Dan

Hi Dan...What you have to do is decide whether the both of you want to pursue this LD relationship. 80 miles to me is not what I might consider a very long distance. That distance, in my opinion is workable, as opposed to say...one or more states away. In that instance, you have to be prepared to spend money for travel, lodging, food, etc. IF you cannot, or will not do this, it would be best not to pursue the relationship in my opinion. IF you do have financial means for this things, then by all means pursue such. Sooner or later for the relationship to work, one of you must be willing to relocate. I can tell you from experience, distance is a killer. Good Luck! wave
