I do not think that it is because our standards are too high rather many people have standards that are too low.
I am new on this dating site and I do want to meet nice people.

Nice to read your post. I am a widow and haveing no success at meeting a man that I would have respect for and there for I cannot get interested in any I have heard from so far. I gave one man my personal email and phone number and all he seems interested in is sex. He even sent me a naked picture of himself from his chest to his knees. I am now ignoreing him. He is 69 yrs. old and I was so surprised a man that age is like that. Please tell me in your opinion--is this the main interest most men betwwn 65 and 72 have? That is the age I have stated I am looking for.
