I think Eufala is gorgeous, never spent time there. Even better is the lake outside Beaver's Bend. That's my favorite.

I used to live right on Grand lake, could almost spit into the water from my deck. Had a boat dock and a wonderful view, loved it. But then the sand beaches of lake Eufala are very nice too, Grand has gravel beaches but there's something great about going barefoot and feeling the sand between your toes.

I didnt know there was any others then grand .. the rest are just puddles with water ..

you tell me what lake will take a 38 ft boat other then grand ans to be alble to open it up.. non that I know of . either to shallow.. are not big enough .. okla just doesnt have them.. at grand you go to the lodge they have good food just not fast food ,, you can go boweling if it starts to rain.. a life band in most cove areas .. go down by sail boat bridge and there is a seafood cafe..what other lake has all that to offer

aw well, lake murray and texoma are pretty big lakes and lots of other stuff to do as well, we also have lots to do on other lakes, Oh heres a hint maybe you need a smaller boat.. i guess whatever floats your boat..lol

NO thanks . if all I wanted to do is float id stay in the pool. I bought a bost to go boating .. Iv been to a couple of the lakes you speak of . one is long but not verry wide . as in things to do they had a couple of things but it was like a broken recored when I returned . the same every week .. maybe you should try a bigger boat and see what reall boating is like ..lol

I happen to like Ft Cobb myself, it has fairly decent fishing most of the year.

yep yep, ft.cobb is my favorite as well, i know the good camping spots and the not so good ones. they have redone cove road by putting new tables,benches and grills and graveled the road..

I'm sorry bt I just have to answer this post, Lake Efaula is the largest man made lake in the USA, so does that make it the largest mud puddle as you called all other lakes? I was growing up in that country when Efuala Lake was being built. I can rmemeber lots of country suide, farms and homes that were theree before the water came and have since in the last 40-45 years seen the area grow to its present size. There are beaches on Lake Efuala and some of the largest fish you ever laid eyes.

Well foxy some of us arnt old enough to remember what you have .. I never said any thing about grand being the biggest.
the lake you speak of isnt verry deep.. are wide .. it is long . and yes the water is nice .. but as far as a lake for living .. I dont think any of the lakes you speak of can handel 50 to 60 ft boats .. are have the amout of eating places on the water ( now I speak of nice with class) if you like it even has a boweling ally next to the water... night clubs . and even a county dance hall.. and if your not into any of tha , they top it off with the biggest fireworks on the 4th for 3 hrs .. so if your looking for a classy puddle as you say ... try it.. if all you need is a mud puddle to get your feet wet and cook fatty hot dogs . then I guess your right ..lol

A classy puddle? Geeze look who's being stuck up smart ass, Just becaUSE YOU HAVE A BIG BIG BOAT DON'T MAKE YOU BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE. And as for fatty hot dogs us okies eat all kinds of food at lakes theres music,parties,swimming,horse shoes,bike riding,resteraunts and boating,jet ski's and fishing, thats what us okies call real camping and real fun.. so put that in your pipe and smoke it..
