I'm right here. There is no reason to give up in Oregon. There are bad apples in every state. You just have to catch the ripe apples before they hit bottom. Don't go for the first line. Let me know what you think.

I just found this site. how many people are on this site and are in Oregon?

home, sweet home, I say. Read the poem "The Right Kind Of People" sometime. Whether or not you are contented in this life depends on what is within you, not what is outside of you. (like geography....) I'm a good debate team member, though, and I will say that some of the most grounded/balanced people I have known have been, of all things, military brats! So, it is true that a change of scenery can be the deciding factor. (I could not be happy in the desert or the ice and snow, for instance.)

I just joined this site recently, so I can't say from experience that it's all that dead. I'll have to see what responses I get over the next few months or so. Patience is a good quality to have in cases like this.

I am new to this site, actually just found the local forums I like to consider my good guy, I don't think you should give up on Oregon just yet, you know never know what might happen.

If you feel like chatting, I guess this goes for anyone.. send me a line, I like meeting and talking with new peoples.

Kittens3.....Hang in there gal. We're all in the same boat here. I'm fairly new to the Klamath Falls area and I'm thinking these men are either sleeping or working. A simple countryfied fisherman would be fine by me.

After being on this (computer) for awhile, I am fairly convinced that you might as well try to find that special someone the old fashioned way, anyhow. In fact, that's how I would prefer it, being a hopeless romantic. More often than not the guy I e-mail doesn't even read it ("unread" shows up and just stays there...) Others I have asked tell me my profile is great, so that's not it. I don't post a photo because I'm a privacy freak, and hey, it's a small town. Friends have told me they'll keep their eyes and ears open; some know this one or that one and when the occasion arises will have us "meet". Lately it's not bothering me quite as bad--sure would be discouraged, to say the least, if a relationship turned out cruddy and needed to get out of it. I want this to be Right. The idea of this kind of 'shopping for a friend' rubs me the wrong way, anyhow. May I suggest that you get involved with a group of one kind or another (that matches your interests/hobbies, etc...) perhaps he'll be there. I am not NOT recommending the computer, but if what you say is true, well, it seems no guys are answering. Good Luck, dear. Really

tons of guys from other countries but rarely anyone from USA or the few that are from here are all on the east coast... there's guys in Oregon i pass by them every day.. seriously can they all be taken or all jack ass'?

Well im newish to the site, been on for about 2 weeks. Joined cause i will be coming back home... OREGON... and wanted to get in touch with some new people. Dont give up on us guys, we aint so bad. Keep in mind tho, that most of the guys out there that your looking for are more reserved then others. Not saying we dont have fun or know how to.

Although a native, I have lived in other areas and I can tell you that this is completely true. Is it in the water here, or what? There is a definite reservedness about people here (I notice it most in the guys) and I have known a good handful of women who have left Oregon because what they're looking for just wasn't here. (Most of them found it--one in Hawaii, one in France, another in Texas). So, a woman who's looking for that special guy will have to adjust her expectations because, once again, people do not change for other people. It's a pipedream. A myth. It doesn't happen.
