Phil Collins never seen him live

Well I must say those are good choices if we're talking about individually named musicians with a backup band... i remember hearing genesis back in the day when i was even younger than i am now lol and i thought they were awesome.... although i must say even when i first heard phil collins he was pretty good... in my opinion his music started going downhill a bit though shortly after he started doing his own stuff... Nelly Furtado is really hot lol vocally and physically she's a knockout... i like most of her work... there's only a few songs i don't really like of hers... Now i do know of Sade, however I've only heard a few songs... she does have a very pretty voice though...

No never seen any of these acts live... probably never will unless Nelly Furtado opens up for a show i would happen to be attending... which she is a headliner i believe and i can't really see her "opening" for anyone (maybe.. i don't know that much about her tours so... i could be wrong on that)

Now we're talking about favorite musicians... well I have plenty of favorite "musicians" most of them are dead now though in either case.... as for ones that are still alive I'll have to go with DJ Shadow (Trip-Hop) , Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day (Alternative-Punk) , and Andre "Andre 3000" Benjamin from Outkast (Hip-Hop)

I like to keep things mixed up a little bit... I'm curious to see who other people are into... I hope this thread gets some replies

Oh Gosh! Not sure I have an all time favorite group/singer. I love music and pride myself in my collection of music. I try to go to several concerts a year. My ENT said I have rock and roll ears (I should have listened to Mom when she said the music would ruin my ears). My teenage boys even appreciate my tastes. Took them to see Paul Rogers and Queen last year. My youngest son just turned me onto The Flaming Lips. I took him to see Counting Crows and Dave Matthews, last summer. David Bowie always puts a smile on my face (saw him three times as a teen). I also enjoy show tunes, especially when I am doing things around the house, LOL. I recently discovered Jamie Cullum and appreciate his talent. As you can see, I can go on and on

Well my favorite band is Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. I saw them live about 2 years ago. I like Nelly F and Phil C, but I've never heard of Sadie.

Well my all time favorite artist is Tim McGraw and my favorite group is Rascal Flatt. I have seen Tim in concert but not Rascal Flatt.

I personally am a lover of just about all genre's of music. I do like Phil Collins of the 3 mentioned by the original poster. Country - Garth Brooks or George Strait. Rap - Eminem. Rock - The list could go on and on, but topping my favs are - Nickleback, Bowie, Queen, Petty, Zeppelin, and Black Sabbath. Heavy Metal - Morbid Angel, Dimmu Borgir, Naglfar, and Death. I'm also a huge fan of Ray Charles, Etta James, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson (his older stuff of course.), Hendrix, Joplin, BB King, Fats Domino, and many, many more.

I love Maroon Five and Rob Thomas, Dave Matthews, and a lot of the newer ones my teens like - Paola (I'll not spell this one right) he sings "New Shoes", and....oh goodness, there are a lot of good new ones.
I like The Orleans, and many of the '70's groups/individuals - even Barry Manillow..

I think I just love lots of music (including my son's and daughter's). I'm not too much of a country song lover, but I do like some of the artists/singers - Keith Urban, for instance.
