Why do people like being proud of being a hood rat and a street husler pot head with no self-esteem? How can people not want more for them selves? The settle for everything because if it is not handed to them freely and without any attachments. URR!!! That really upsets me so much!!! Why is it all or nothin for people who ae raised just to take/do what every they want to without asking/deserving it/ Don't do something unrespectable right after someone compliments you for being a respectable person towards others...dah. Not a good move on their part or behalf. I don't understand why nobody has ambition anymore and wants everything to be handed to them on a silver plate with golden utensils. Can anyone tell me what and how we can stop proverty in our own towns and have people want to be proud of what they are and whom they have become in their lives? I mean I have seen a lot of people going to the Barnwell unemployment office just get unemployment instead of look for a job and it is the worst thing to see. I was even asked if I would rather have a JOB or an unemployment check....which one did I say....well...a J O B!!!! Of course I want a JOB because I feel like I have accomplished something by the end of the day and I come home and crack open a beer and sit with my daddy and drink it with him.

YOu see I agree with you. I am a single father and I made the conscious decision NOT to take welfare from our government. I believe its most of the blame can be placed on the shoulders of the 'nanny state'. Because of the constant entitlements (heck, the more kids you pop out the bigger your check is, if you dont know already) many women dont have the incentive to work. And many men (myself excluded) dont stick around to raise their children and teach them to be self sufficient. While I praise the single mom that works her butt off to provide for her children, on the same token I have no sympathy for the welfare leaches out there. I know how hard it is, I'm doing it. And when I did need unemployment and once 'tried' to get help, I was denied. Why I was never given an answer, yet miss welfare momma with 7 kids driving a 1 year old Escalade could walk right in and demand her check and get it no problem. So long as people are empowered to be lazy, they will continue to be lazy. But give someone the taste of what it could be for them with hard work and a little education and they want noting but more. Well, some people that is of course. Some people are quite satisfied sucking of the teat of the rest of us, you included that works hard and pays way too much in taxes every year.
Solution: Stop the entitlement programs, make people earn the welfare one way or another.

i'm a pot head on scholarship for experimental neuro research and i have a job! :) :) nothing wrong with being a pot head. infact, most pot heads are pretty successful, smart intelligent people. almost all of our presidents, artists, most political figures, almost EVERYONE in the music and fashion industry (though from personal experience they really like mollie haha), most professors, doctors, lawyers...pot heads are everywhere :) :)
