Gee I wish folks didn't feel that way about being single.
I really enjoy it. The independence, the making all your own decisions and having your own priorities, and doing whatever you'd like to do, (*even football), whenever you want. (within reason of course)
Naturally being in a really good relationship is very hard to beat. As long as its for the right reasons. But it concerns me that some seek out relationships only because they don't want to be single, or to live alone. Sooner or later I think that reasoning usually comes back around to bite us. And when you get into a marriage, or a semi-permanent scenario, which isn't all you may have hoped for, being single sure looks good from that perspective.
I'll take either, as the case may turn out to be.. But hopefully either situation will be worthwhile and gratifying for all concerned.
As long as she doesn't mind mowing the grass and taking out the trash.. heh heh
