Hi; I have thought this over thoroughly and have come to the conclusion that if nothing else gets done, I have made someone laugh out loud with this question:
What does it mean when someone on the site says they are looking for a woman with no baggage? Duh! I am looking for a real answer. Baggage = ex husbands who hang around. Children, emotional destress, financial ruin.

I think women also want a guy with minimal "baggage"

Everyone has baggage.
This baggage is accumlated through life experience. Sometimes you can put the baggage down right away and sometimes you can't for a while.

I tend to speak in metaphors.

You sound very wise. How true this is. I think I would be a little leary if someone in our age group did not have SOME baggage. Seems that having a little baggage can develop character and grow us up!

Baggage is a metaphor for an individual's personal experiences, interaction wiith other people and a host of other things. It's an accumulation of lots.
Baggage has highs and lows in it.

You try to discard the bad baggage as best you can. You deal with whatever was bad, come to some resolution of actions and you go on.

Bad baggage, if it's kept to feed, can fill a person wth great remorse over deeds done in misjudgement.

You pack this stuff in a suitcase and shove it int a closet or an attic.
