I am recently seperated to my wife of 3 years who I've know for 5 years. The thing that bothers me the most is her total lack of emotion when she told me it was over. Like the last 5 years didn't mean a thing to her......as a person that got no warning it was coming, how do you deal with that?

If she has no emotions about your pending divorce...it was not really there to begin with...she had other reasons for marrying you - consider yourself lucky and move on. Living well is the best revenge...good luck.

thumbs up Charli is wise. Listen to her. My ex after seven years looked relieved of the obligation. That hurt but after a few months I was releived myself. It hadn't been there in a while and I just didn't take the time to notice it. comfort

I have known my ex husband for 8 years and we were married for 5 years. One day he came home from work and said he was tired of having a family and he left. I later found out that he left to be with a 16 year old girl. Now, I consider it his loss. At first, all I could do was ask myself (and him) "WHY??", but after a year I finally realized that there isn't always a reason why people do the things they do... we can't be responsible for their actions. We just have to make the choice for ourselves to move on toward our own happiness.
