I am going this Saturday.

Well, if it is warm, I will be wearing bellydancing costume. Long flowing skirt with same pattern as the blouse in my horn picture.. If it is cold, I will be wearing faun horns like my pic and the unicorn horn only with the strap across the forhead. And brown tights maybe long sleeve shirt with fake fur vest over. Oh, pointy ears as well. I will most likely draw on pointy eyebrows as well.

I will be there most likely at 10 am. Got to go buy a ticket online. It is cheaper online.

nope.. unfortunately my costume is about 10 years old and I've finally out grown it. I didn't see you either...but I was pretty drunk on the yards of strawberry daquaries.

Ah, was that you then? (joking)My sis reminded me of that meetup group that is about the refaire. I was the second organizer of it and dropped out because of too much drama. Anyway, it is refaire time so I signed back up to it to see when the group was getting together. I met two people. The new organizer and another man.

Yes that was me !!! staggering around talking smack to the rennie's so they could chastice me at my horrible outfit since I wasn't in costume. It was usually the other way around for me...but either way you go....it's fun.

What's the renfaire group?? Where you get together and come up with ideas for next years fair or something??

Hm, so I don't step on website toes, I won't answer that here. Feel free to email me tho and I will further tell you. Maybe we can get a meetup group going right here. That was why I posted here. Hoping for our own little events group. Hm, maybe I am posting it to the wrong place.

Here are the upcoming weekends of Ren Fest.

Oct. 31st and Nov 1st are All Hallows Eve. I've been to this one before and it's great fun. There are usually haunted houses set up and many demons and spirits running around.

Nov 7th and 8th is the Roman Bacchanal. Men in robes which means lots of naked man eye candy for us ladies. You men always have eye candy there too.

November 14th and 15th is Highland Fling. So ladies...show up with your "under the kelt inspector cards" and have a blast.

November 21st and 22nd is Barbarian Invasion. Men in loin clothes...yummy. This is the weekend I think I'll be able to go again. Maybe I'll get raped and pillaged

november 27th, 28th and 29th. Celtic Christmas. Also the very last weekend of the faire. So if wanted to purchase something or join in the merriment of the occasion..this is your last chance.

Never heard a woman talk about being raped and pillaged with such gusto! LMAO! ROF!

Weather could be kinda cool by Nov. 21 and 22.... brrrrr! Cold doesn't do much for a man's anatomy I tell ya. Makes me about the size of an average Joe in fact.

That would be nice! I'm already booked for Nov. 7th though... it's my club's night-fly event and I have to get out to Huffman early that afternoon to get my model helicopters set up and ready for the event. Any other nice weekend though I'm game!
