Yep, it's true. In fact posting an ad to meet your soul mate without a picture is the surest way to fail in your quest. All the words in the world wont get you to first base if the one you seek doesn't read your ad. Stuff like I'm funny, I love to cook, honest, like going out to dinner etc
is going to get you squat if your words never get read. Everybody is into looks whether they admit it or not. People who say "looks don't matter" are lying through their teeth and that goes equally for men and women. Men want a pretty face with a hot body and women want a guy who isn't hard to look at and is fit. What is the first thing that catches your eye when looking through pages of ads? That's right, you look at the pictures first and probably don't even bother to look at the text until you've found someone who looks
good to you. When I see an ad without a picture my first question is, What is this person trying to hide?
