so its been a few hard years for me.not many dates.a couple short term relationships.i think i have lost my confidence to approach the ladies.is there something new i missed out ondunno

You just got to get out there. It is hard I admit but it is worth it when you find a nice person to be with. Finding someone just takes time. Sometimes it seems like you'll never find it but you have to have faith that everything will work out.
On a lighter note you could just take out an ad and say you are learned in Kama Sutra!
