I am starting the long, process, to have Lap Band Surgery". I am diabetic, obese, and over the mass index and I have heard the good and bad about it. If any has gone through the process and has had it, can they let me know, in here? I really need the support. On a note of good news, my diet isn't working so well.
Dear POPs, my dearest friend got one and also has Diebeties. It has not worked for her because her eating behavior did'nt change. I have gone to Overeaters anonymous for years. They helped me understand the nature of my eating. I lost alot of weight but felt embarrssed by my sagging skin. It's a 2 edge sword. I wish you well on this journey. Feelow beach walker. Tess
