Next Tuesday, I am having wrist surgery on my left wrist to release a nerve that is making my left pinkie finger, side of wrist, numb and will be in the hospital overnight. Has anyone had this proceedure? If so, did you stay overnight? What was recovery like? Did you have PT? How long did it take for you to recover? Did you have a lot post op pain? If you were in the hospital, how was the stay? How soon were you able to drive?

Hey, how'd the surgery go? I had carpal tunnel (CT) in both wrists from playing the piano -- very badly -- almost had surgery, but elected not to. I eventually healed pretty well. It's tough not having use of one's hands. I hope the surgery was a success.

I had carpal tunnel surgery along with a thumb joint rebuilt. Surgery is never fun. However, if one waits, nerve damage does not heal in the wrist. Better tohave it repaired before you have permanant damage...
