I once read an article about dating in Washington state. It stated that there are more single people here than anywhere in the U.S., except Alaska. One of the reasons for this was the weather. It also said that many of us have become hermits. The acticle said that at coffee shops, people are behind their computer screen, on their cell phone, or reading a paper. Do you find this to be true? Are you a non-native to Washington and do you find Washington different from your home location? I recently went to both Tully's and Starbucks and I did notice that people were pretty occupied.
