Being relatively new to the workforce, I'm taking full advantage of the energy boom we're currently in. Giving up a full summer for work means NOT having a job during the school year, and I doubt I could afford to focus solely on school without the high-paying jobs that the oilfields have brought to our state again.

I'm just wondering how you feel the energy boom has affected your lifestyle.

I just moved to Wyoming from Wisconsin...I did not move here for the boom, but for other reasons completely. I managed to get a job in the Energy Industry at Williams Energy Services, and have to say that it has been amazing.

I have a job that I love, which affords me the things that I need in my new hometown...a house, food, gas for my truck, etc. I can't complain at all.

That's always nice to hear; nothing like moving to a new town and finding out it's hard to get work :<

I met a guy from Williams Energy, I think, at the Universities' career fair. Sounds like an interesting company :)

I usually spend my summers in Rock Springs, but never really got into Green River that much. Anything worth seeing there?
