roll eyes

Oh for God's sake. He could sing and dance, appeared to be inherently selfish and bought his way out of some very serious charges. Get over it.frustrated
confused Eh, Jade Goody isn't a saint!!! Just a well known young woman who died from cancer.

I think he was speaking symbolically rather than literally.

Jade Goody was almost canonised in the media before she died.

The only similarity between the two is that they both died young.

Totally different individuals. For one thing, Wacko Jacko had a talent for something other than annoying people.

I think they should both be made saints in minor celebrity heaven. Then the door should be locked and the key lost.

I don't seem to remember him doing anything for anyone other than himself. He spent millions on trash for self amusemt as he sang the Earth Song to us. To my knowledge he never performed a single charity concert. And now his funeral has no doubt pulled in more promotional millions. And these morons out there believe this guy is some sort of demi god.very mad very mad very mad

morning Keith i totally agree with ya, its so sick to see all of these sad people pouring their hearts out over him, when he wore a face mask as he was afraid these same people would give him germs.....I mean Hello!!!doh

But there was a fair few big names that didnt join in the circus of a funeral for him and that to me speaks volumns......grin

Michael Jackson supported over 36 charities, in his life time he gave millions to charities. The list of people who he met through charity work is endless. He is recognised in the guinness book of records for his work.

So for whatever else he was, you cant say he didnt care about other people, he helped make a lot of peoples lives much better and comforted the sick and dying.
He also left a percentage of his wealth to charity.

For that alone i applause him..

I was never a big fan either, although i did like his music, some songs in particular, where there was real meaning ie anti racism or poverty !and what a fabulous dancer i loved his thriller album....

But ye we must give him credit and also remember all the good work that he did.
