Jade Goody was almost canonised in the media before she died.

The only similarity between the two is that they both died young.

I don't seem to remember him doing anything for anyone other than himself. He spent millions on trash for self amusemt as he sang the Earth Song to us. To my knowledge he never performed a single charity concert. And now his funeral has no doubt pulled in more promotional millions. And these morons out there believe this guy is some sort of demi god.

yes i think the way the memorial was done was a joke..i think it should have been a private family and friends affair..

have to say his music was great although he was a lil mad himself.. jmo

Michael Jackson supported over 36 charities, in his life time he gave millions to charities. The list of people who he met through charity work is endless. He is recognised in the guinness book of records for his work.

So for whatever else he was, you cant say he didnt care about other people, he helped make a lot of peoples lives much better and comforted the sick and dying.
He also left a percentage of his wealth to charity.

I was never a big fan either, although i did like his music,some songs in particular,where there was real meaning ie anti racism or poverty !and what a fabulous dancer i loved his thriller album....
