cause he was a celebrity thats all he was human like the rest of except his money and fame in my opinion

Yes of course he was , but he used his money and fame to enhance the lives of many. Without people like him giving millions to charities im sure many of them wud be worse off.
There are loads of celebs out there who dont give anything and dont care either JMO

The person whose MJ used his money and fame to enhance and change most of all was himself.

jackson was a man, who was NEVER convicted of any wrong doing or any crime..

thriller is still the biggest selling album of all time..

his charity work and the money he donated is well documented..

he was extremly eccentric and i can only imagine how living in the media glare and perscution from the age of five, along with been mentally and physically abused by his father, messed up his head and his life...

he loved children, i think, because of his own lack of a childhood. i do believe in some way, he was mentally disturbed by his life as a child, and this afftected how he acted...

i also believe he loved children... not sexually... but in a caring way that his own father never showed him..

im also completly sickened by that fact that he was dead a few hours, and not only did the media circus ring to life, but everyone, including his father who promoted his new record comapny, and some basketball player who i have forgotten the name of, mention KFC 5 times in his memorial message to michael.. no wonder this man was painted as a recluse and a freak.. wouldnt u be as bad, when ur family and friends were cashing in on your death.. imagine how he was treated when he was alive...

fuckin shame on any of u who are quick to judge and make fun of a man who was gitfed musically, lyrically, and with amazing dancing ability..

and yes, i know he didnt write all his own songs... but he did the majority of them...

i think he lead a very sad life and i feel sorry for him its media and press building on it..you take Elvis he died the same way as Michael and the doctor was blamed their again its the same case here..i think he always going to have fans in Graceland they were celebrate his birthday and the day he died and it will all end up like a money racket like in memphis where Elvis is..and i suppose it will be the same with micheal in a few years time
i honestly think he never had a childhood his father for one threatened him like dirt and suppose to be very abusive towards him and never allowed him have a childhood i guess like anything that got to him as life went on..
he had some great hits in his time and the most of us probally did like them i remember trying to do the thriller dance never worked

Michael Jackson was neither as brilliant as his groupies would say or as bad as his detractors say.

Perhaps we should stick to his musical qualities rather than going into what he was like as a person.

Give me a break. Jade Goody, what exactly did she do except take part in a reality tv show & jump on the band wagon and lived her life in front of a camera which was of her doing & her choice

As for Michael Jackson, no matter what anyone thinks or says about MJ they can't take his talent, singing or dancing away from him. I wasn't a huge fan but certainly liked a lot of his songs.

One interview I heard after his death with Martine McCutcheon & she gave the most appropriate quote-- The media built him up from the age of five just to knock him back down again
I believe it's like that with any celbrity, what else would the media & these magazines have to write about otherwise.

But no I don't think he should be made a saint either, come on people it's not like he performed any miracles.

Well i remember talking to a friend of mine, who said he started to take drugs cause he was finding it very hard to fit in, and i remember thinking why couldnt society just fit in and accept him the way he was....

Now this makes me think about michael jackson, who was viewed as an oddity, eccentric not "normal" and then i wonder what is normal, however much i think about this, i always come back to the same conclusion "normal" is when something or some 1 is socially acceptable.....

If we analysise it a bit like a high IQ which is "abnormal", but because its socially acceptable its "normalised"

Anyway he was hounded for been different, just like everyone who doesnt fit into the socially acceptable "normal" criteria!
