so the lad gets the paint and comes back an hour later and says....' i'm all done and ready for my money. And by the way, that's not a porsche it's a BMW'!!

Welcome back PT, missed your post's and your presence here!hug

I think in the main I have been lucky here. I met one aggressive man who I just blocked.

One or two have asked me what position I like, I actually told one guy and now I'm dating him!!rolling on the floor laughing

True!

Once a guy knows, I am dating, I generally don't hear from them again, except the genuine guys that are on this site and they do exist.

None of us is perfect, we all have our faults, it's how we manage them is the key to being a happy human! yay

Bullshiter's you can spot a mile off, just block the bugger's!D'oh!

cheers

Minx!

men that are arrogant, and the ones that jump down other people's throats at the slightest provocation- If a man is willing to be that aggresive to someone they don't know and over something trivial...imagine what their temper could be like in real life arguments.

i don't think people should try to portray themselves as perfect here, but don't throw your flaws in others faces too.

oh and txt spk 2!!! I h8 pple usng it- i don't even really know how!!
thumbs up I agree , some of the people on the forums think they own CS , its actually funny!! Imagine taking offence at something a complete stranger says on the forums, lol..

ah...

i send a brief one (not a one liner) initially and prefer to receive the same because i think its presumptuous to assume that the other person wants to read an essay from you - they might not want to know you and its polite to just send a few lines at first i think or some people just flower initially instead.

[quote=missspecial]What is it about men on dating sites that makes a lot of
them think women are just on one for SEX??..TURN OFF!!
Block button instantly!!

Then you have the guys who are messaging you for MONTHS +
then just STOP...DISAPPEAR!!! No trace,no word,no EXPLAINATION!!

Why bother filling some ladies head with...im a nice,
genuine, honest guy crap if you are doing same to everyone??
What KICK or satisfaction do ye get from it??Thats just SOME of what turns ME off some men on dating site..[/quote

It is a power thing I think-no time or energy to wonder really but some men are so arrogant they want to keep you as a spare in case they get a puncture.
I have become ruthless about it myself-if they say they are going to text/phone/message and don't have the manners to do it I just tell them nicely straight away(no second chances) to piss off and best of luck on the site. That way you don't get cynical about the genuine people, you don't waste time and energy on the messers and you can have a bit of craic-maybe meet someone you like.
Takes some experience to see the assholes coming but the trick is to get rid of them before they get a chance to mess you around and you still have the craic with the good guys-plenty of them around if you don't let the messers waste your time.
This is a good topic by the way
