Sorry to hear that, I hadnt seen your pic so can't comment on it (and wouldn't anyway unless you specifically asked me for an input)

Always remember - some people confuse their attempt at wit...
...................................with what is in fact their sh*t.

There are angry people in the world - you've maybe had some of them have a go at you - but there are nice people as well.

I don't have a pic up for a similar reason. Even though we say we are not shallow people do make harsh judjements based on pics. Nobody should be able to critiscise anyone for how they look.

Its a personal choice if you put a picture up or not and others have to respect that......But if a person put a picture up and others ridicule it that is so disrespect to that person.....No is perfect in this world and how dare they think they are the picture police around here to tell others what they dont like about their picture.....these people in my eyes are just nasty bullies...and we should feel sorry for them as they seem to live in a shallow life.....hug teddy bear

Now please put your lovely picture back up.....

there was a thread on "should it be mandatory" regarding people putting up pics etc. It was interesting and made many "including me" think about the topic of profiles etc.

People who send horrible remarks are SCUM. If i dont like someone I wont email or reply to them. Block them and report them. As for puting up your pic, I would suggest wait and see how you feel and be comfortable and happy to put it up again. Im glad you said that you would sleep on it as you are taking it seriously and decisions that can have negative or positive impact should be thought through. I didnt see you pic, and everyone here is saying to put it up again. Eitherway, do what you feel is best for YOU. the cs moderator is there and can offer some protection if required and dont be concerned to use it.
Plus, (and i say this with caution) the other NICE cs members can be contacted if you need assistance regarding some idiots etc e.g. we'll stick up for ye.

I agree no one shoudl criticise anyone esle they have no right... i just meant that by taking your pic down your giving into them... strangely enough i would love to see the pics of the ones doing the criticising ... i had the bad remarks... and the ones doing the remarking need to take a look at them selves... we are all different and thats what makes us unique...K xx

Sorry. I'm NOT PC. So I have to strongly disagree. Looks ARE very important. I'm sure there'll be buckets of 'sarcastic sympathy' for my affliction after this post ... but I don't particularly care.

And in relation to this reply and other posts in the same vein on here ...

..... anyone on here that decides that people on CS are shallow, etc. because they judge others on 'looks' OR because they're not particularly goodlooking they don't put up a picture and then moan about the situation - tough!
This is the real world .... get used to not being someones favourite because they don't like how you look.

Check out past posts on here.
1) All of the PC complainers that start a thread against pictures being used to judge others - are women.

2) A far larger majority of men over women have pics on here.

Hands up all you men out there with no pic ..... like myself, once upon a time .... who's first message from a woman that you've never met / chatted to / seen before ..... is the eqivelent of 'send me your pic. (And this type of thing from ladies with no pic on their profile also!!

Double standards are a way of life in the real world too.

Can you imagine going into a fruit and vegetable shop and being told you have to pay for what you want BEFORE you get to see it !

Hey Im glad you have your pic back up and cannot honestly understand why whoever said whatever they said. Keep it up. people like that only say those things to make themselves feel better - however that works i dont know but they obviously have issues if they feel they need to put someone else down. thumbs up thumbs up thumbs up
