I have to be honest and say I can't pick out anything, but generally there is a lot of banter going on between both men and women and it always at some point turn to sex, which has already been stated by a female member. Maybe I'm getting old, wise........and sensitive. I think mutual respect is needed when expressing our opinions on sexual matters. Sex is the end result of something far greater which is 2 people truly connected and enjoying each others company.

I think we have an unhealthy attitude towards sex mainly because of the teachings we were brought up with. Many people still have hang ups about them selves and the opposite sex, it's hard enough to find some one to truly connect with.

That female you mentioned was me and I have no problem with sex talk on the forums hey I'm usually amongst the first to start it.
I was brought up with a healthy respect towards sex and I think I still have a healthy attitude to sex. Why shouldn't we discuss it? Its as natural as eating breathing and sleeping my mother is a woman before her time and I can ask her anything about sex even now when she's heading towards her 70s and I know she will give an honest open answer and not skirt around the issue.
Sex is just an act and theres no shame in talking about it however making love is an intimate act between 2 people who have a mutual respect and admiration for each other and hopefully love and that I would never discuss with anyone let alone on a thread.

I heard on the radio recently about how hard it can be for a man to approach a woman in company of other females. They make it difficult for him and generally slag him off, but if the woman breaks away from her group she is more likely to accept an approach by the man. Some times for me, it feels like that on the threads.

Any way I thought it was a good title to start a thread.

Thats interesting Articbloom, same goes for your gender, in my experience they can be v different when with their friends. Ive found that i often have to approach the men now as they never approach us ladies in bars anymore, which is a real pity.

Well if it does feel like that to you on the threads im going to be the first to apologise.. the forums are for everyone to join in or not join in but sometimes we get caught up in the craic like we did last sun.. and i know LL will agree it was great fun but we made sure to encourage everyone to join in.. ok maybe the topic was a little risque and not for everyone but it was all in fun and i hope that when on the forums i dont ever feel i cant join in.. have only started using them recently and i have to say hand on heart there are a great bunch of people here.. really great and i enjoy talking to them all... mad bunch that they are... am totally sane of course
