Should Women Ask Men Out on First Dates?

Posted: Jul 18, 2008, 3:02 PM CST
What's the truth? Should women ask men out on first dates? or do you feel that if us guys are not asking you out then we're not interested?

I think I'd have the bottle to ask a guy out if I was really interested!

However, as I am taken, it is now not a place I would go to!

Equality and all that!

I would not think she is being forward, In fact if a woman asked me out on a date that I had been 50/50 about beforehand she would gain points straight away and I would be more likely to say yes because of her asking.

I don't see why us men should hold the monopoly on asking people out on a date. If a women asked me out, I'd be delighted! ...dancing

i suppose because it traditional for a man to ask a woman out, i'd be worried that if i asked him out- he would see it as a sign i was reaaaaly into him and take advantage- not labelling all guys, just my own insecuritiesblues

take it another step. As most of us are using online dating sites like this for instance. How do you ask someone, you've never met in person, out? are there online signs you should look for, considering body language is missing.
