take it another step. As most of us are using online dating sites like this for instance. How do you ask someone, you've never met in person, out? are there online signs you should look for, considering body language is missing.

Well yes... u can usually tell by the emoticons used and the words.... and the flirting... if they dont do that with anyone else especially on the forums thats usually a sign... judgement call i guess..

I wouldn't have a clue I'm c**p at reading signs on or off the site so unless a guy actually made the first move I would be totally oblivious and would probably be thought of as a stuck up b***h, I just wouldn't have a clue.

i dont care who does the asking, it shows confidence in yoursel, to be able to ask someone out.

was suppose to b just lunch but turned into a seriously hot date today and following up again with the same lady tonite!

I agree, shyness is often mistaken as rudeness or for being stuck up. Some people dont bother seeing past that. Oh to have an open mind!!!!!
