We get about 50 flowers a day so can be difficult to reply to all professor professor professor

50 - lol, well I don't get that many!
Personally I think it is rude, and I would always be grateful for any flowers, chocolates, diamonds, furs, holidays in the Caymans etc

I personally think it's rude not to at least thank the person for their interest whether it's flowers or a message. I always end a message wishing them luck with their search though because of recent experience I also add the thumbsdown emoticon because I've had a couple that won't take no for an answer.

Dont think I have received that many in the 16 months I have been here.

doesnt just happen to guys either, I have sent flowers and mails that I have received no replies to.

At first I found it insulting then I just realised that they were obviously not interested.
