Yes, anyone working in the private sector would be sacked straight-away for claiming non-legitamate expenxses.

But isn't it great that all this information is now open for public viewing?

Unlike some tinpot "democracy" where the corrupt president squirrels away billions into his secret Swiss bank account.

They have all got away with it as they were the ones that came up with the idea of claiming expenses..all above board they say, i say well done to the whistleblowers and i think that they should pay all the money back with interest..

What makes it even more laughable is, the Speaker, Michael Martin
said he is calling the police in.

I see you are not surprised...

It's all NEW WORLD ORDER...I reckon the whistle blower is one pissed off person...Or is pissed off at someone in White Hall.

All the MP's did (rightly or wrongly) is abuse of the laws...

What really annoys me is the out-and-out fraud that some of them have got away with. To be honest, I'm not all that bothered about paying for their dog food; they are allowed £400 a month for food anyway. If they want to eat dog food, let them. It's the ones who change their second homes to get their third home renovated; or the ones who claim mortgage interest for a mortgage that doesn't exist. This is fraud and the police should be swooping in and prosecuting them.

Don't hold your breath, though.

Yeah, how annoying that they squandered our money in this way mumbling

The bit that really made me see red very mad was the bloke who bought himself a massaging chair. Such a waste for him, he could have at least done the half decent thing and bought me one instead rolling on the floor laughing

Its time there was a huge clear out.....this is unacceptable & there needs to be serious change.

It's disgusting how our money is handled by the biggest fraudsters in the UK!

If that was us we'd be done for the above! but this bunch just seem to offer to pay it back & everythings ok.....??

as the old saying goes....."one rule for the rich" doh

MP's should be ashamed of themselves. What they have done is criminal. Some should be arrested and charged with fraud. That is what some have done. I feel completely let down by the whole government. As mentioned previous, there is one rule for the MP's and one for the general public. The Government is soft and this whole episode proves it. No-one will be charge.

What scares me now, is where do I put my vote. Who can be trusted??
I know I shouldn't vote BNP, they have a racist element to them. But they becoming appealing. At least they will shake this country up.

Money Money Money

They lie all night, and cheat all day, their claims all in and then we pay
Ain't it bad
And still it just appears to be, they’re all corrupt, no honesty
Make’s us mad
To take it all, that is their plan
To rake it in the perfect scam
Expenses paid, no claim to small, they spin around and catch us all...

Money, money, money
Must be lovely
In an MP’s world
Money, money, money
Con the country
In an MP’s world
Aha-ahaaa
All the things they can screw
Just to claim the public’s money
In an MP’s world

They list it all for where they stay, a second home someone must pay
Ain't it bad
They say they claim it legally,, they do not care as you can see
Make’s us mad
So they must leave, they have to know
We’ve had enough, they’ll have to go
They’ve made a fortune in a game, but life will never be the same...

Money, money, money
Must be lovely
In an MP’s world
Money, money, money
Con the country
In an MP’s world
Aha-ahaaa
All the thing s they can screw
Just to claim the public’s money
In an MP’s world.
