All of the above

the parents to a small point because nowadays parents are to scared to be parents and advise like they should because there to interested in becoming best friends wit therre child, and you can still be a parent and advise and disaline in the right way and your kid will adore you, and thats speaking from experience.

the schools coz there teaching sex is ok at a young age instead of trying to get young ones to see that they shouldnt just go and having sex for the fun of it. and handing out condoms in schools dosnt help anything.

Decay in morals , well the word hasn,t got many morals left which is very sad.
It needs to do a turn around and quick.wine

Knowledge is a good thing though sass think of all the good things that come of the teachings and the handing out of condoms it will not make anyone do anything but it will stop alot of pregnancies in the ones that choose to partake in underage sexwink

The kids are all learning from one another, its cool to do adult things because it seems to be the only way they get attention, the wrong kind of attention, some come out of mum's womb wanting to be eighteen they dont want to be children, there are laws out there which are not practised because no one wants to take resposiblilty for these mixed up kids and they are ONLY kids, teen pregnancy is becoming the normal nowadys, there are more and more parents that cant control their kids, the schools have little control, the social work are swamped with cases yet the government take a backseat..we have to teach our kids that its cool to be a kid too...jmo..wave

It's not telling them it's okay it's opening there eyes to the facts and showing/telling them the facts is a good thing it might scare some of them from doing it in the first place why cant you see this.

Yes true but the goverment has encouraged this in a way by giving young mothers houses so if you want a house get a kid it will never force the kids to do something they don't wanna do.....

At last a woman with some sencedancing
My point exactly education isn't saying it's right or wrong it's simply education and we/they all have the right to make choices rightly or wronglycheers

I blame alot of things and not just those involved or the parents. Teenage pregnancy is not a new thing and has been going on for hundreds of years but because of media and news we are more aware of it now. The media are at fault for alot of it including promoting sex in teen mags, soap operas and through music. Some of these things have been going on for years, but I don't think all this "sex education" advice works in the long term. I think we are a more free sexual society a thing which grew in the 60's as before hand nobody really talked about it, and at school it was a snigger in the classroom and nothing more.

Also I don't think some of the kids having kids are as dumb or uneducated as some make out and do use it as a meal ticket, there has been plenty of contraception advice over the years and confidential stuff from Doctors regarding pills and Condoms but none of them seem to listen. Accidents do happen but many are well intended. I am a liberal thinking person by the way but when generational mistakes happen the first time around history seems to repeat itself.

So so agree with you. "Back in the day" Teenage or even un-wedded, moms to be, were sent off to an 'Aunt in the country' or other.. But down to us females (I think) Womens Lib and all that... That we (as women) wanted to make sure the un married/teenage pregnant women were not made to feel as if they were lepers. And that it was ok to keep thier babies. But things got out of hand. There was no more stigma..... Morals slid...

Damn right, some of the young 'uns' of today use pregnancy as a meal ticket - But NOT all do!

I was a teenager back in the eighties - I knew about contraception then..... So I agree, education is not at fault for teenage pregnancies, of now a days!! I feel and I could be wrong.... That a lot of teenage moms of today have been brought up to think that once pregnant, the council have to give you a home and they are entitled to a shed load of benefits!!! JMO dunno But that also boils down to the up bringing that teenager has had......... If that teenager grows up in a home with a mom/dad whom thinks that life owes them... Then for sure the kid is going to grow up thinking the same?? Due to no fault of thier own?? confused dunno dunno Surely it is up to US as parents to make sure our kids know the true facts of life - NOT just the birds and the bees!!!!
