I dont think its different in essence, but I do think it has different priorties.

I think the US is unfortunately much more an "instant gratification" culture than the UK.Even though the UK has got pretty much that way, I still think you will notice a difference.

There's not so many Americans here we drive on the different side of the road we don't all say have a nice day we've got different money to you there are lots of differences oh i almost forgot things are smaller here it reminds me of a joke.....

There were these Americans on a coach trip in Britain the coach passed a small boy digging in a field the Americans shouted to the driver stop! we want a picture of that boy in the field it's so British so the driver stopped the Texan with the loudest voice went to the fence and said to the boy i want to take your picture so the boy posed for the Texan after the photo's had been taken the Texan said what are you digging for the small boy said potatoes can i see one said the Texan the boy took one out of his sack the Texan laughed and said son we grow them 3 times bigger back home the boy innocently replied we can grow them bigger but we choose to grow them in proportion to the size of our mouths......Silence is golden

Yes its totaly diffrent in nearly every way than the US
a completly diffrent lifestyle.
