For the past 3 weeks there have only been 2 programmes that I have been watching.

Nothing else has been of even the remotest interest to me apart from the odd film that was on too late for me to watch. Something to do with having to get up for work the next day.

My 2 programmes have been:

Bear Grylls: Born Survivor
Top Gear

Both of them laugh out loud funny.

Has anyone else been living on a diet of 2 or less TV programmes per week?

If so, what have you been watching?

Hmm Well of late, there have been three programmes I watch..... Corrie, Easty and HollyOaks!!!!!!!!! Sad, mindless TV, I know... But... My daughter got me hooked on Hollyoaks and other two I grew up on... So I stop all my DIYing to come and watch them. Jeez I really need to be cultured!!!!!!!!! wink rolling on the floor laughing

Yeah, considering. I've only turned my tv on once since last october, then suppose I do live on a diet of less than two programmes a day laugh

Ah well, I lead a busy life, work morning and nights 7 days a week, so thats my excuse professor

I keep hearing on the radio about having to but a digibox to watch tv soon anyway. Just hope I can still play on my wii without buying a digibox dunno Mind you, I've not even had time to go on that for the last three months help

cool

Excellent Zella.

Must be tempting to get rid of your TV and use the license fee money for something else? Except that the TV's useful for playing on your Wii...

Personally I hate watching every so called sport on TV except Rugby, Motor Cycle and Car racing and the Red Bull air racing
and documentaries when they are about subjects inshich I have an interst.

At one time BBC 2 was the channel to show intelligent programmes like on the Discovery and History channels on Sky now.
We now have no options unless we subscribe and my new TV set with bult in Free sat does not even receive UKTV history where I am as it's a poor reception area. some of us cannot affordto pay monthly subs for the licence and to watch decent programmes.

I was brought up in an era when we had REAL hobbies, so I rarely watch BBC or ITV and Channel 4 now and certainly not the BBC news as its reporters and newsreaders are rigged and gagged by the politically correct and government to sell propagend to the proles.
The licence fee should be scrapped IMO

Can't get the cricket on my TV. I've been listening to it on the radio when driving for work.

Can't get the Tour de France highlights either. I like watching scenes of French countryside.

It's not the football season.

I had no interest in Wimbledon when it was on.

Formula 1. Formula Zzzzzzer for me. It just sends me to sleep.

I might watch a little bit of the British Open golf - so I might have a 3 programme week. But I'll only watch it if there's a close finish.

And hey, it's the height of summer. Plenty of other things to do apart from watching TV...

wave Yes, I've thought of that, but then my son wouldn't be able to watch his sky sports 24/7 laugh so looks as if I'll have to carry on buying a licence for a while longer yet.

Possibly agree slightly if you were talking twenty / twenty cricket but test matches just don't do it for me anymore. Far too slow & boring yawn
