Hallo everybody

I have never seen a ghost.

But

I was working nights in a nursing home( really old building, was used as a small Hospital once) in Wales. Sometimes in the middle of the night a patient rang the bell and said he /she have seen a nurse in old fashioned clothes either standing by the door of their room or next to their bedside. The patients always asked who she was. The staff including me always said you must have been dreaming.

I was working there for a good few years. The other nurses already have told me the story about this nurse going round at night. Nobody of us nurses or any other staff have ever seen her.

Only the patients. The only strange things was it seemed to make a difference where the nurse was standing.

Because if frail patient said she was standing near the bed they died within a few days or weeks depending on their general condition. I mean they would have died anyway as they were very frail and old.
But if she was seen by the door it appeared to us she was just checking up.

We never told the patients anything. Just asked everybody which has seen this nurse where she was standing.

I must admit all the staff including me found it more then creepy................................

uh oh uh oh

My brother has a picture of our father's flowers at the crematorium. It was a warm summer afternoon and he and his wife were alone. The photo shows a large cloud of mist just over the flowers and a figure in the background that is very similar to our father, same clothes, same stance but just a little to blurred to see and the guy is watching my brother.

My sister had a neighbour over at a party and something had run out and he said he would nip home and pick some up. When he got to his home you can see into the kitchen from the front door. He thought he was being burgled as he saw a young woman squatting down on the floor apparently picking something up. She got up and turned and walked through the kitchen sink and disappeared. He did shout at her but she did not appear to know he was there. He later found out that before the house was modenised that it used to be the back door.

I worked with a woman whoes in-laws lived in a lovely house but it used to be an orphanage that burnt down and many children died. The stories she tells makes your hair stand on end. Loads of them from clocks stopping, machines stopping and starting, ash falling from ceiling, noises. They had learnt to live with it and felt no threat only sadness.

Now I am covered in goose bumps.!!!

Hallo Angel

I don`t think it quiet matters. It was and properly is still well kept between the staff which works there.
As it won`t make a difference. And to this day I don`t think people who have seen her by the bed really would have liked to have known why she was standing there.

Yes, probably best you don't blurt it out on here, if any of the patients are members on here and saw the name then it could come as a bit of a shock to them to find out they're residing in an haunted hospice wave

Especially if they seen her by the side of their bed. If would just freak anybody out.
If she is still around there.
I would not wish that upon anybody..............

Sometimes it is best not knowing............
