Yorkshireman: Burtons it is then! -

But sadly, the thought of a fresh sea-breeze swooping from the south precludes even the very notion of kilt-wearing

Thanks for the advice - duly noted

Yorkshireman: I've been somewhat out of 'the loop' for a while, and now find myself referring to the age-old question of what to wear when going out on that first-date.

It always used to be - in my younger years - a case of nipping off down to Burtons, buying new trousers and a shirt, smothering myself an inch thick in aftershave and going for it.

I know also that it would vary from age-group to age-group, but across the board generalization is what I'm looking for here.

I suppose a lot depends on where you are planning your first date.
You might look a bit of a plank, dressed up to the nines if it's for a casual stroll along the beach, or summat grin

I think it depend on what which type of guy you are.
If you are a office guy, you feel confortable in office suite. Otherways a nice jean, pair of trainers and T-shurt.
