Gordon Browne's decision is being challenged and you may also have a referendum on this in the future.
It is a complex document requiring some 3,000 other pages to understand it, so not much chance for the average lay person there. I have been researching and studying it as much as I possibly can and firstly if we vote Yes and there is no Referendum in the UK then it is signed and sealed for all of the EU permanently.
Although the name has been changed it is still basically the EU Constitution. The most troubling aspects for myself is the placement of total power in particular to do with Defence and the Military in such few hands.
The other thing that really makes me wonder is the total lack of knowledge people have about this very important document and most Governments pushing it through without asking the electorate.
This is rewritten every time it is refused, so far the French and Dutch Governments have rejected a document which was 95-97% similar to this. There is also a trail of "sweetheart" deals being done with "difficult" member states leaders, our own Bertie Aherne being led to believe that he would be the next leader of the EU (Recently had to resign as corruption charges began to pile up!)
I am continuing to research it Trish but what I am finding is that although there are some good aspects to it, faster decision making etc, there are also disturbing aspects to it as well.

This could be a good thing or a bad one, but it needs to be discussed and not bullied on us as is happening here for the last few weeks.
